History

Home to Jim Broussard, Broussard Farm is a working ranch and the site of many special events.

The beautiful setting of century old live oaks include the historic Broussard home. Built in 1857, by Sevenne (say-van) Broussard, it is a perfect area for the bride’s party to gather and makes a beautiful setting for the ceremony. The barn and adjacent alley are great areas for the groom and his party.   The barn is often used for gatherings of 50 or less.  Sevenne Hall, located next to the barn, was built to emulate some of Texas’ oldest dance halls, complete with stage, sound system and special lighting.  The patio area offers the perfect space to catch up with old friends or just have a good quiet conversation. Attended parking is on site.
